Two weeks

Wow, it's been over two weeks since I've posted.

Well, to sum up the past two weeks, D and J are gone, we still get to see them though, some things are going on with D, but I'll wait to post on them till we know more, we have a new little girl, C, she's 3 years old and an absolute joy to have in the house. There might be a relative that'll get her so we may not have her for long. We are all very surprised we got another girl, we've never had a boy before, and although we've loved each and every one of the little girls that have come into our house, we are all still waiting to see if we'll ever get a call for a little boy that needs us.

If we get a boy we have to go and buy all new clothes. We have clothing girls from age newborn to about a five year old, but nothing for boys. I love all the little boys clothes! They're so cute!

Anyway, Happy Easter! Tonight we are going to a Good Friday service at our church.

I'm on a one week brake from P.E. We just finished cross-country(blah). It was only like two-and-a-half weeks, so it wasn't that bad. Now when P.E. come back we're doing softball!

I'm still working on the blanket I'm crocheting. It's huge now! I'm probably about half way done.
I didn't realize how much yarn it was going to take! I'll post a picture of it soon, I just have to bug Brooke to help me.

I gotta go, Cya!:)

Sad week

Well, to add to our already sad week of losing J and D, A, the two year old little girl we got about a month ago is leaving us today.

A's social work called and said that the judge gave custody to a godmother and we have to drop her off at the county office.

It was unexpected and we are all very sad. A was a Godsend, she was helping to keep us busy from just sitting around and thinking about how much we are going to miss J and D. A is going today, J and D are going sometime after the weekend.

Are house will be empty without our little girls. We know there are other little ones who need good homes and are waiting for us to love them, and though they will never take the place of J, D, and A, we that somewhere out there, there is a little boy or girl that needs us. And honestly, we need them.

Even though we get stressed out, and there are those days that seem to last forever, and the days where we'll find a little part of us saying, "What were we thinking?", in the end, I wouldn't have traded a single minute of all the craziness for anything.
